Niaku

Niaku is the Keyblade Master in the Land of Departure, who takes on worthy apprentices to train and become Keyblade Warriors. Niaku, as a young teenager, trained in the Land of Departure, but continuously failed. Eventually, he believed that training in the Darkness could help him overcome the darkness in his heart and become a master. Niaku accidentally locked himself in the Door to Darkness until he was twenty seven. During that time, Niaku mastered the keyblade and managed to overcome the darkness in his heart by learning a valuable lesson he shares with his accomplished students, as well, he lost his left arm. Once he freed himself, he returned to his home at the Land of Departure to find it destroyed. Niaku revived the realm entirely off his memories, rebuilding the realm to its former glory. While Niaku can leave the realm, he can not be gone for more than a few hours, or the place will begin to crumble.

While Niaku isn't extremely strict, he's a little harsh on his students. He expects to be treated like an equal and will treat his students like such. He gives little respect to students that do not try, but simply expect things to be handed to them. He prefers Independance and will not baby any of his students. In order to influence him to take you as one of his apprentices, you need to convince him you are worthy.
