Five hundred years have passed since the final battle between Kiochi Tsruga and Maritza Zaballa. The Gotei 13 has grown to be a prominent force within the realm of souls. Quincy continue to fight alongside the shinigami. Spiritually aware humans outside of the Quincy Order are discovering powers of their own and joining the fray. The Skull Queen hasn't forgotten nor forgiven her defeat at the hand of Soutaichou Tsuruga. She has amassed an army of her own and now more arrancar exist that carry the title she brought into existence. After five hundred years of quelled violence, the fires of war have once again been ignited. The battle between BLACK clad shinigami and WHITE masked hollows has reached its peak once again
